Lee Carlson

Senior Pastor

Lee grew up in Ashville, NY—a suburb of Jamestown!  He was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and was active at Camp Street United Methodist Church.  At the age of 21, he realized God's plan for him to pursue full-time ministry.

After graduating from Geneva College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Aviation, he went on to complete a Master of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1992.

He spent his first six years pastoring two rural churches before being appointed to UMC Webster in 1998.  Lee believes in, and is passionate about, working together to make a tangible difference in both the spiritual and physical lives of those in Webster and the surrounding communities.  This is accomplished by focusing, not only on the needs of our church family, but also on the needs beyond the walls of our building as God opens doors to new opportunities. 
 
Lee would love to meet you and your family and partner with you in this great adventure called life.  His family includes his beautiful wife Michele whom he married in 1990 and two great kids, Ben, a senior and Samantha, a freshman at Webster Thomas High School!
